A particularly well proportioned and attractive, working multi-wood moonphase weight driven pendulum longcase (Grandfather) clock with painted dial, showing seconds and calendar created circa 1810 by renowned clockmaker Edward Matthews of Welshpool. Edward was actively making clocks from 1805 until 1844.
